I've had this problem before, and it's usually due to a slightly loose or mis-fit hose clamp.
When the engine is cold, the system isn't pressurized, so the coolant won't push past a slightly loose clamp. When you start the car and things start to heat up, the system pressurizes, but at the same time, things get hot and expand, sealing leaks. There is probably a short time there as the car warms up that it leaks slightly, but the leak evaporates. Once warm, everything fits OK.
When you shut the car down, the system doesn't cool down evenly. The coolant is still pressurized, but hose clamps in free air cool down faster, and you get some leaks for a little while.
I would tighten all clamps. Look for signs of leaks, which would be a whitish or greenish powder near a clamp. A favorite place for me is at the upper radiator hose.
