Well, today I had a small electrical 'hiccup' in by 900. I have an amp under the rear seat for the back speakers. After getting in and driving for about a mile I noticed this awful smell. I thought it was something outside since the windows were down. After parking and noticing the smell was worse I got out to investigate. Under the engine smelled fine. I had the oil changed, mixture set, and fuel pressure accumulator put in today also. No evidence of any of these smelling. Well, back inside the car the odor was starting to dissipate. Opened the back seat and was hit with a huge odor. Something electric had burned. At first I was worried something important had bit the dust. But then I thougth about my great engineering job on the amp. The ground was bad on it so I wired it up a little south of normal. After about 4 months of working fine, it finally burned up. I havn't opened the shell yet to see the extent, the damn thing stinks too much to bring it in the house.
Well, now to my question, any good ideas on how to remove the odor? I don't want to leave my windows open over night as I have to safe place to leave the car in that manner. Help please.
