Got the disks from SPG9 (not cheap) and they fit exactly. I compared them to the non-slotted disks I took off and the KVR disks had fewer but larger air ventilation slots. The disks appeared to be of higher cast quality too, less casting flash and better shaped vents.
The pads have exceptional stopping power, too. I've had them on for about 50 miles now and they're quiet (except for the slotted rotor slight wiff wiff right before stopping) and stop the car with much less pressure on the pedal! In fact, I may have to put HPS pads on the rear axle too, or something stronger/higher mu than the MetalMaster pads I've got on the rear now. The front wheels lock up before the rears now...the only question is how much sooner and whether the stopping distance can be improved. It certainly is much better than the previous situation where the rears locked up first!
Jury is still out on the Hawk pads dust and rotor friendliness issue, but the stopping power just about overrides everything else, even if I have to clean the wheels once a week like the Audi with stock pads.
