Find the intake manifold, and follow the fat rubber hose away from it. You'll find a metal or plastic (depends on year) box with an electrical connector. Sometimes it is held onto the hose with snaps, other times with a big hose clamp. The electrical connector has little metal snaps that hold it in place. Replacement is astonishingly simple.

You can probably get a rebuilt for a LOT less. Last time I picked one up at Sobstory, it cost me about $140 after core charge.

When you get a new one, MAKE SURE you tell the guy your year and engine. It wouldn't hurt to read the part number off the old one, too. There are different AMMs in different years, and they look a lot alike, and the electrical connector will fit both. But they are NOT INTERCHANGEABLE. A -013 and a -005 look a lot alike.

This is a definate DIY job, and you can save a bundle if you shop around.
