On my '90 SPG, just got done with replacing Alternator VR. Had the car running for 2 weeks. Yesterday, as I'm pulling into the parking lot and put the pressed the clutch pedal, THUNK, and the car does not move. Anyone have ideas on what it could be? Recently, under harder acceleration, there would be gurgling sound every time I step on the clutch to shift gears. Throw out bearing? Pilot bearing? Not the tranny?
I'm gonna start tearing into it. I searched the archives. I'd like to get your opinion on possible causes. Right now, the car starts and idles fine. Good pressure on clutch. But the gears won't engage. When the clutch pedal comes all the way up, the engine stalls. I can get into all gears, but the car won't move. Thanks in advance. I've done two head gaskets in NG900, engine removal and replacement on NG900, Alt repair, and couple other jobs. I've heard clutch is pretty simple on this car. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
James from Michigan...
