Is there a difference between the LH2.2 and the LH2.4? Posted by Steve Schwedland [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Couple of suggestions >, Micah in NC, Fri, 27 Aug 2004 10:28:47 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I checked the resistance on the coolant temp sensor and got a reading of 2.36kohm. That seemed a bit low so I checked the resistance for the coolant temp sensor on my wrecked '89 900TC and got a reading of 3.44kohm which seems a bit high. The outside temp right now is right at 60 degrees and neither car has been run today, except to test start the '85 a couple of hours ago.
According to the Bentley manual the resistance specs are:
3800ohm at 50 degrees
3000ohm at 58 degrees
2600ohm at 68 degrees
My question is, can I just swap the two or are there different parts for the LH2.2 and the LH2.4 systems?
