Yes, the upper balljoints were the worst. Where do I find such a tool like the one in the photograph that you showed me? How much does it cost? I'll use it next time I do such a job. Yes I have to agree that using a fork and hammer might cause some damage. But, so far she drives like a breeze now.
I do have another question. I don't know how familiar you are with shocks and springs but, what brand should I get for my car? It is a Saab 1989 900 Turbo model. I was told that you should get a spring- shock combo that match each other. I want the smoothest ride that I can get. Have you ever gotten in a car and no matter what, the ride was very comfortable? Even when going over rough terrain like gravel, you couldn't really feel any bumps. That is the kind of ride that I would like to have, unless that doesn't apply to my car. I've heard that Bilstein is good, but the Bilstein HD shocks might be a bit hardcore for my car. Would just the OEM do good for it? I've also heard that the Intrax lowering springs might be a bit harsh too, but then again I've also heard that Bilstein HD combo with the Intrax combo would be great, along with tires that had a hard side wall. I just don't know anymore. There are so many options available and I would really hate to waste my money that would lead to unhappiness.Know what I am saying? So basically, what would you recommend that I try out? Please help me. Thanks. Talk to you later
