On top of the tricky business of clutch/slave installation.....I believe the threads in the casing where one of the allen bolts goes are stripped . I suspect this because I think I caught the bolt head(a hex bolt installed by previous owner)on the bellows/spring,when I removed it. There were circular bits of meatal on the hex bolt and the bolt was slightly bowed. :-( I can either take a chance that there are enough good threads to grip along with loctite Or retap the hole to take a slightly larger bolt? Anyone done this? Anyone know what size I should be looking at in metric for tap and bolt? Any advice welcome. Winnipeg Karl (new to Saabs)
