Unless you're sure the washer pump isn't running (you should be able to hear if it is or not), read on:
Sometimes the only problem is the check valves immediately below the washer nozzles. They're the little L-shaped plastic parts with the cylindrical portion on the bottom. I've seen these fail two ways: the valve diaphram can get stuck, not letting the washer fluid through, or the diaphram can rupture, in which case the fluid squirts out the hole in the bottom of the valve (washing your engine!), rather than out the nozzle.
For that matter, the nozzles can get clogged. A straight pin and/or some compressed air will take care of them.
You can open the hood, disconnect the washer hose from one of the check valves and try running the washer. If either of the above is the problem, you should get a good supply of fluid out of the detached hose. If the check valves are your problem, you can bypass them by attaching the supply hose directly to the nozzle.
