Help! Clutch Install (long)

I think the bellowses covering the slave cylinders have it in for me. First, it was a pain to get the slave allen bolts out as the "lip" on the bellows did not allow for sufficient space to get the wrench in there. (Solved that by bending the lip, obvisouly can't do that on new assembly! Will probably cut the wrench down a bit)
Now I am ready to put the new clutch "sandwich" back. With the new style slave, the spring loaded bellows does not allow the release bearing to stay on the slave shaft. I am really supposed to keep suffcient pressure to compress the bellows, keep the release bearing on the shaft, keep the slave aligned while holding the pressure plate( which is nicely compressed now) and clutch disc?
Is the best solution to find a friend to help? I am calling it a night but would really like to get this installed in the morning. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.
