Without hearing it I would look at a wheel bearing (maby X2). If you have high miles on your car (and who doesn't) It may be time to change them out. You can do one side and wait till the other side gets noisy if you are short on money. The cheapest way out is to pull the spindle and take the spindle and new wheel bearing to a garage and have them press it in. I have been told that you should go to someone who knows Saabs as it can be installed wrong. I don't know much about that, I did mine myself (I have a press) but you can get out of it pretty cheap. When they get real bad you can jack the car up and move the wheel with your hands or use a pry bar and move the wheel up and down. In my case it moved over 1" at the out of the wheel (but it was not noisy). I would get a 2nd opinion before pulling your spindles out but that was the first thing that jumped into my head.
