removing headliner to bare roof, also buzzer question.. Posted by Chadwick [Email] (#569) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Chadwick) on Wed, 15 Sep 2004 17:20:36 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
87 900s. About a month ago the headliner started sagging really bad on the sunroof piece, so i just tore it out. the almost gunmetal finish on the black looks very nice in my opinion (i like much more of a sporty look in my cars). About a week later i was driving with the windows down and the headliner started coming loose, and kept sagging and sagging more. I pinned it up, for now. I want to remove the ENTIRE headliner, even the piece that it connects to (with the orange carpet glue stuff). How hard is this to do? I want the black look on my entire interior roof.
It seems like removing the hand hold handles, cabin light, and the mirrors should make it pretty easy to do, but has anyone ever done this?
also, the buzzer when you turn the key to the 3rd position before start, is quite possibly the most annoying sound i've ever heard. Can i rip a wire off or something to make this thing stop? where does the noise come from, i cannot locate it, but it has to go.
thank you in advance..
