My 92 900c has ONE ding away from being a perfect body. It was there when I bought it . It has been hit by the rear bumoer of a truck. It is only about one-half inch deep, and approx.two and one half inches in diameter . The paint hasent split except in the middle. I have taken it to 5 shops and all of them say that the only way to fix it is to bang it out and re- paint the entire hood. Believe me- The paint job on it is the original and is beautifull. The repair people would never match the perfect factory job. I had rather keep it as is than to re-pait the entire hood, if you know what I mean. Is there some way to remove the hood and use some tool or whatever to "push" the ding out?. Any ideas would be appreciated.I know that some of you guys would have an advise.. Thanks, Guys!!!
