An FPR is a Fuel Pressure Regulator. It keeps the Fuel Pressure at the fuel rail at a set value (on your 900S it should be 3.0 Bar/44.1 psi). It does this by sending used fuel back to the tank. It is located on the Firewall side of the fuel rail. It is bolted to the head and the end of the fuel rail and has 3 lines running out of it(one being the fuel return to the tank, then a vacuum line and a fuel feed from the fuel rail). You do not so much test the FPR as you do test the fuel system to see if you are getting the fuel pressure called for. If it were too high then you would look at the FPR (but Low FP can also come from FPR). To test this you need a fuel pressure gauge. It will tell you in Pounds or Bar what your FP is.

I am wondering why you think you have a FPR problem? There are many reasons for a reach A/F mix. FPR does not pop out at me as the first. Can be something as silly as a Bad air filter. Why do you think it is “flooding out”? It might be helpful if you said what the problem you are trying to fix is.

Not sure how much help I have been. Good Luck and I will keep an eye on the thread. Lots of good guys on here will be able to help you.
