Radio Cable Color Code Posted by Ken [Email] (#2113) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Ken) on Tue, 5 Oct 2004 11:31:38 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
94 Commemorative Convertible:
From the radio there are 3 cables: red, yellow, and blue. Actually they are multi-wire cables with pieces of color tape for identification. I know the red and yellow connect to the CD/Equalizer. They trasmit the signal and code info between the 2 units. (I know that because my red cable is bad.) Here's my question: Where does the blue cable go? Is that for the rear amp or is it a pre-wire for a trunk-mount changer?
FYI: On the back of the radio there is, in addition to these cables, two other square connectors and the antenna lead. Quite a rats nest back there
