Is your car a 3-door? One time I had a battery drain problem on my '84 3-door (900T). I'm a little embarassed to admit that I lived with it for a long time by installing a battery isolator switch. Eventually I discovered that the problem was the courtesy light in the cargo (hatch) area. I had inadvertently moved the switch on the light such that the light was staying on all the time.
The light is similar (if not the same) as the light in the roof at the B-pillar, with a switch right on the light. One position is off all the time (middle?), the other is on all the time, and the third is on/off with the hatch (there's a switch in the latch). I never new the light was staying on because you can't see it when the hatch is closed (assuming you have the parcel shelf installed). It's kinda like the light in your fridge - you just assume it goes out.
Your post makes it sound like your test light indicates that the big drain is in the interior lighting circuit (or you're doing the test with the door open!). If that is the case, it could be the cargo area light. I think it's on the left side of the stowage area.
