I certainly don't always agree with the little company on the shores of Lake Gitcheegumee. However, I will say that I have never been told a falsehood by anyone there, there has never been erroneous test data published, their quality control is tops, and the oil is unmatched-- they have never had to reformulate in order to meet a new API spec.
Sure, it would be nice to have CV joint grease. I talked to the chemists years ago, and was told that it required special formulation, and that the perceived market was very limited. Makes sense to me--I already stock about $20,000 worth. We've got 20 different 4 cycle engine oils!
Far as the non-lubricant stuff--I don't push any of it. I use the water filters, which do an excellent job, and there are some dealers who use them. I keep some of the vitamins on hand, and use some. They are very high quality, better than most available on the shelves.
Something must be going right, since they've about double sales over the past three years, and have about maxed out the current plant. They have turned down Walmart, Pep Boys, Auto Zone--all of whom wanted to carry the products.
And, one other thing--they've never bounced a check and are still in business after over 30 years.
