Update on Tranny stuck in reverse

Today I've pulled off the dipstick cover and guess what - the lever that moves small reverse gear was disconnected from the gear groove. The lever itself has a lot of play though, about 3 - 4 mm. I guess the round distance piece that goes under it wore the lever material off.
Nevertheless, I've managed to curve the thing a bit so it sits deeper in the groove. I think a more permanent soulution is to grind off A BIT of the distance piece so the screw hold the thing in place more tightly.
