I have had miserable luck with the urethane bushings also, BUT: If you really are in a tight spot (me, last weekend) get a couple of upper control arm bushings; the ones with the steel center tube. Next find a short peice (~1 inch) of thin, strong tubing that has an ID very slightly larger than the OD of the tubing in the bushing. I had some 0.032 wall stainless handy that worked perfectly. Use a vice or press to force the short length of tubing over the tube in the bushing. The idea is to shave the rubber portion off the steel tube. The rubber remnant is a perfect replacement for the outer control arm bushings. Use a vice or press to push the rubber bit into the bushing mount. If anyone need the ID size I'll post it on request. I just need to find another bushing and mic it.
