With that much oil leaking it should be fairly easy to find the spot. It must be almost pumping out to reach that amount, are you sure it is not more leaks from other areas too?
Buy a couple of cans of brake cleaner and spray the area where it seems to be coming from.
I guess it is possible to remove the end cover with engine in car IF?? it is a stick shift (auto forget it).
You need to remove clutch and flywheel.
The end cover gasket is now superseeded to the Loctite 518 anerobic sealant.
