I couldn't agree more. I used Autolite plugs in my 900 for a while and they were awful. Something about the temperature range was all wrong.
NGK is the way to go. The owner's manual lists which plugs to use, either for regular use or hot-burn (short trip, city driving, etc.) conditions.
Bosch plugs work just the same, but that name jacks up the price.
In the Bentley book, they say (for '88 Turbo) use NGK BCP 7EV as the standard use plug.
CIS is the injection system used on 8 valve 900 base cars for '88.
MPI sounds to me like their version of LH which is the electronic injection used on 16 valve motors.
The B201 is the 2.0 liter 8 valve engine (single cam- 1)
The B202 is the 2.0 liter 16 valve engine (dual cam- 2)
The fourth digit is probably an I or a T meaning Injected or Turbocharged.
