Rarely is there some mysterious power drain. It's almost always something else.
First off, is your battery charging? With a charged battery, when you turn the car to ON,but don't start it, do you get a BAT light? If not, then the BAT circuit is bad, and the alternator isn't working. Not charging the battery will kill it quick. If the light doesn't come on, find out why - it could be a burned out bulb, or more likely, the thin wire from the bulb to the alternator has broken.
Next, throw a voltmeter on the battery when the engine is running. It should be in the 13 volt range. If it's in the 12's, even when you rev the engine, then the battery isn't getting recharged. That is most likely a bad voltage regulator - easily removed, as it's bolted onto the back of the alternator.
You could also have a defective battery. It does happen. Make sure the connection between the cable clamps and battery post is clean. Not the outside of the clamp - that's for show. Remove the clamp, and clean up the connection between the post and INSIDE of the clamp. A little fine sandpaper or Scotchbrite works well. But the big one is to start with a meter and make sure the battery is being properly charged.
