I have read several posts and searched the web for information on adding remote locks to a classic 900. I know I have to replace the switch in my driver's door with a solenoid. I have several solenoids already. I understand the switch has a 3 wire connector and the solenoid a 2 wire connector and that I have to make an adapter. My question is, do I need to run an extra pair of wires from the new solenoid in the driver's door back to the lock relay or does it work on the existing wires? Thanks.
