If you have floating wrist pins (you can tell because there will be circlips or some wire retainers in the pistons) the wrist pins will slide right out and you can replace pistons. I wouldn't replace the bushings on a floating wrist pin-type con rod unless it was sloppy. Otherwise you have to press the wrist pin (brits call them gudgeon pins) out of the connecting rod...it's an interference fit. By the same token, if you have floating wrist pins, the small end bushing in the con rod gets replaced by pressing in a new bushing. Then the bushing is honed to properly set the clearance with the new wrist pin.
there's a wide school of thought on whether floating or fixed wrist pins are the best. I would suggest you go with whatever the factory did.
