Belts are made from a wide piece. The piece is then cut down to thin belts. Different pieces (blanks) are slightly different lengths and elasticities due to temperature, chemical differences, and even the way the machine has been repaired and maintained between manufacturing. Belts cut from the front and the back of the piece (blank) also may be mismatched.
What does this mean? Your alternator may be perfectly aligned and this may be a belt issue.
Dual belt applications require "matched belts". Those are belts that originate right next to each other on the same larger piece (blank), & are packaged together, and are meant to be used together.
I think the key here is that you have 2 different secondary numbers, meaning that your belts were made from 2 different pieces or "blanks". That means that they are not matched.
