Keep your transmission fluid fresh. Tons of debate on that topic around here, so I will not make a recommendation.
The harder you drive it, the shorter it'll live. Plus you'll spend more on fuel and repairs, but that's up to your personal driving style. I like to think of the 900 (turbos especially, though I've owned none yet) as power-on-demand cars, the rest of the time keeping composure.
Since my car's an eight-valver sans turbo, instead it is curves-on-demand and a winter sled.
