I pulled the interior - you pretty much have to to get the carpet out so it can dry - that means front and back seat, cubby part of the console, and you have to take up the sill plates and loosen kick panel trim. I also elected to remove the knee bolster to get a good look at leak sources and flow.
I ran a hose over the car and discovered a leak from the bottom lip of the windshield on the drivers side that was running along the windshield and down the side, as well as producing a slow drip from under the dash. Had the windshield trim removed and the gasket sealed at a shop. Was about an hour labor. Also found small drip from the steering wheel firewall "gasket" that I sealed with silicone. Also been said on this forum to watch for the mounting holes for the knee bolster.
Consider yourself lucky that your floors are intact. I found rot in all four corners, from the inside, so the pads been wet for quite some time.
