I hate driving in Columbus... Especially on 270! I tried to take 270 from 33 over to 23 North and it took me almost 90 minutes at rush hour... And driving in the city? Forget it. However, I was in Detroit a few days ago and I'll tell ya, I'll take Columbus any day of the week!
I live up in Findlay and I work down in Lima and it usually takes me about 30 minutes to drive 43 miles... With all the holiday traffic (escapee's from Michigan heading south, and blue hairs heading north) it's been taking me almost 50 minutes...
People camping out in the left lane for 20 miles... The occasional moron who leaves his turn signal on for 40 miles (still in the left lane, of course) and who can forget the bozo's who think it's their moral obligation to drive 15 miles under the posted minimum speed limit.
While I'm unloading, what about the people who tail gate when the morons aren't in the left lane? OR the idiots who hug the centerline? I mean GOD forbid I be anywhere other than the emergency late when they decide to pass me...
And did any of these tools ever learn about the concept where traffic entering the highway that they have to yield to the traffic that's already there?
I mean jeez... I had a semi on the left of me and an Expedition trying to merge on from the right and the driver had the gall to flip me off? Judging from the wrinkles on her boney little hands and the tiny tuft of blue hair I could see, peaking just above the bottom of the window I'm guessing that she was at least 300 years old...
Holiday terrorists... Every damn one of them!
