Thanks so much John for the shared knowledge. Seeing how water has been coming into the passenger floor, (been meaning to clear the drain from fresh air intake), i believe that you are right on! i had a spare ecu, did not solve the issue, with your information, combined with an existing source of moisture, hope has returned!
My saab was towed to a chevy wrench friend of mine, (saabs are like from another planet to him), and no saab shops here in west virginia, we were at wits end. He could not understand back in 1974, why i bought my first saab, a 1969- 96. i love these saabs yet have very little mechcanical ability.
