The car is still doing the same thing. I live in the middle of no-where in Dartmouth, Ma. I don't have a bently manual and it's about an 1.5 hour bike ride to autozone. I have been doing all this work outside in the rain and snow.
So thus far I have...
1. Added anti-freeze (I was a little low)
2. Added dry gas and fuel injector cleaner
3. replaced the fuel filter with a new one
4. pulled the plug on the Air Mass Meter (the car ran like crap, the check engine came on and it died)
5. swapped the temp sender with one from my '93 900s(I believe that is what it is called the blue plug on the intake manifold, inbetween the runners) (the '93 is down because it needs a new slave cylinder)
6. the car had about 1/4-1/2 tank of gas. I put some more gas in, it now reads 3/4 of a tank (so i doubt it's the pre-pump)
Some one said it could be the igination control module or the hall sender in the distro. Hiw to tell if these are faulty and are they interchangable with the '93 900s to the '88 900 SPG? What do they look like and how hard of a job are they? etc, etc. thank you so much.
