You're pretty close. When the car is off the needle is in the "0" or atmospheric zone. There's alittle break in the white area that shows where that is. ANything below that is less than atmosphere (vacuum) and above that is boost. Typically a stock 900t w/ good fuel will just barely reach the red. not sure on the max boost pressure (someone will probably tell you)but I think its maybe 8-10psig. Modified cars can go more into the red zone which is higher (duh) maybe 12-14psig which I believe is that max that the stock turbo can acheive (again I may stand to be corrected).
Enjoy it and always run 90+ octane if you want the best performance(-:
