- - at least it's listed for $1.95 for 16V motor, $1.25 for 8V motor, among engine seals and gaskets sold by saabsite.com which I'm afraid isn't a sponsor of this site and is probably also available at the sponsors of this site who sell parts though most of them seem not to have listings but to ask you to submit a query and they'll quote price and availability. Above and beyond all that I'm sure it's a standard metric o-ring of a particular measurable size and probably of fairly common grade (Buna) rubber if there's an industrial seals supply house somewhere near you down under. Take distributor and old o-ring with you for their perusal.
And finally since once the distributor is in and set to accurate timing the distributor isn't likely to need to move for a long time, you could always clean the groove and bore out with solvent, and also the old o-ring or its remains, then apply enough silicone sealant to the groove and old-o-ring that it will seal perfectly well, then install and time it quickly before the RTV (room temperature vulcanizing) silicone sets up. I'm sure the distributor could be pulled out just fine should the need ever arise.
