Will these wheels fit my '89 900T?

they are 16 x 7 with a +40 offset and a 73mm centerhole (4 x 108 of course).
I figure I'd need a 5mm spacer and am not sure exactly how this will affect durability/reliability. Is it ok to have the 2 extra mm in the centerhole (I think it would be 2)?
