I bought the Audiovox CSS-100 for about ~$100 from AutoZone. It took me about 4-5 hours to install. It would have taken me less if I knew how to take the lower dash panel off.

Assuming you have the manual transmission, installation is super easy. It gets the speed signal from the ignition coil and holds the engine at a constant rpm (and the vehicle at a constant speed).

I mounted the switch on the center console where the sunroof switch would be.

As far as a factory cruise, I can't help you. I researched buying the pieces and retro-fitting them, but for the price, work effort, and trouble-shooting, the Audiovox unit was the way to go.
