Thanks Chaz for your input. I should have said the motor never starts first time when cold. It's hard to keep the idle up so that it runs for first 30 seconds. After 30 sec. I do not have an idle problem. Takes a long time to get the needle in the green. If I tried driving in first 2 minutes I would have no power at all. When it's warmed up it's great. This is an '82. My '81 had the same problem so I thought all Saabs needed to be warmed up for 10 minutes before driving. When it's warm enough outside I'll get the spray bottle out to look for vacuum leaks. Hopefully this info will envoke a few new ideas.
