I had someone break into my car about a week after 9/11. It was in a parking garage that has surveillance, yet they didn't seem to catch it on tape. Anyway, they broke in, by drilling a small hole under the lock and pryiing the lock mechanism until it unlocked the door. Not too much damage to the door, but the strange thing is that they didn't steal anything from me either. They went through everything, but didn't take a thing. Being a city resident I never leave anything in plain view, but yet they broke in anyway and didn't take a thing. What's stranger is that their were much nicer targets in the parking garage with exposed goodies in the back seat, etc. Why did they want to break into my 1983 900 Turbo that had nothing worth taking. Strange.
