You can adjust the hinges. If you take the door's inner trim panel off, you can see the bolts that hold the door to the hinges.
This is just a rough procedure that I used with my 3-door to remedy a similar problem. Be very careful to make small adjustments. Don't try to do it all at once - the adjustments should be small.:
- Compare the door with the other one to see if there is any deformation of the door or the place where it mounts on the body.
Probably you will want to start with the upper hinge. Loosen it and carefully rotate the rear end of the door down a couple of mm. Tighten it, close the door and hood, and check how it aligns with the opening. If it's still not right, you may want to do it again.
- If the door drops down too much in the back, you will want to loosen the lower hinge and raise the back of the door a few mm. Do that and check it again.
- You may need to rotate the top of the door in or out. You can adjust that by loosening the hinge mounting bolts on the body and gently pushing the top of the door in or out and necessary, tightening the bolts and rechecking. Same for the bottom of the door.
The doors can be heavy, so be careful.
