Help! Clutch M/C rebuild (long.. sorry)

Got the M/C out of my 94 900s conv. with very little effort, the hardest part was getting the clamp off the fluid supply line (I'll replace it with a screw type clamp).
FEDEX just brought the rebuilt kit and of course no instructions. I have four important questions;
1.How do I remove the old seals and washers from the piston? The front end (towards slave)turns and it has a plastic cap holding on the seal, Do I just pry that off? I don't want to damage it of course.
2. How about the seals on the other (pedal) end?
3. The kit has two flat washers and two rubber seals and a small rubber "cup" which might also be a seal. I didn't have such a "cup" upon disassembly. There was a lot of crud, did this part disinegrate? (I hope not) Where does this "cup" go?
4. Finally the clutch pedal connecting rod has a rubber dust cover. Since it was old and pliable, I could pull the old one off the sleeve it sits on, then over the washer and then over the knob that contacts the piston. But how do I get the new dust cover over the washer? I don't think it'll stretch that far.
Thanks in advance for your help! MCC
