No lowbeams on my 90; high beams normal

A first for my C900 collection. Lowbeams are out (had to drive home using my HELLA foglamps), while the high beams burn fine.
Looked over the schematic tonight 371-74. All fuses good, hi/lo, swapped in the Relay from my other 90, same story. Schematic shows a single ground point for both Hi/Low lamps (the one under the radiator drain, I think), so can't be that one. Light/Cruise stalk was just changed out within the last 3 months.
Anyone seen this one? Too tired to look at it again tonite, but I guess I will look for power behind fuses 16\17 tomorrow, and perhaps look for the ground(s) under the relay connection. Dash light switch appears not to know or care in supplying power to the relay...so I am guessing floating/gone ground. Chance of both low beams burning out simultaneous, like hitting the power ball?
thanks,
DET
