the thin walled does have a smidgen less turbo lag. i boosted all of them as much as feasible with the black box and i can say that the 88TC i currently have has the worst lag compared to the 89 SPG and 89 TC.

the 89 TC, however, is the most direct comparison and it had a set of magnecore wires (i used the 8.5's, prolly should have bought the 8.0's w/stock ignition components) which i noticed help in a subtle but very notable manner.
