Things that go away by themselves have a habit of coming back by themselves.
That being said, pressure equalization is overrated. I have started bleeding my clutch hydraulics yearly since the fluid in that U-shaped line does not circulate and tends to accumulate contaminants (water, etc.) much quicker than the brake lines. I've started recommending this to just about everyone. I changed over to a 5 speed, then last summer (a year after the gearbox went in) the clutch fluid looked like oil. I was worried! Especially since I was doing the master cylinder at the time, I figured I needed to bleed everything. Now it's normal practice. My 900s are going to be garage queens for a bit now too; in goes the immortal '88 exauto and out comes my convertible... This should be fun! March 27.
