Having hauled home more than a few SAAB projects on tow dollies, and having hauled my 1968 96 V-4 Deluxe from Oregon to New Mexico on a U-Haul tow dolly, my opinion is that tow dollies are one of the safest, best ways to haul a car. Just put the front wheels on the dolly (I like to put mine in gear to become "one with the dolly"), attach all the required/provided safety gear, make sure that no rear wheel brakes are dragging, and go. After the first few miles re-check all attachments. Take it easy on downhill slopes and tow with a vehicle that weighs more than your SAAB "towee", and you will be amazed how easy it goes.
