It's sort of a "Pay me now or pay me later" thing.
It looks like they are infinitely easier to install than the traditional rubber bushings. They also cost about 4 times as much (almost $100 for the 4 bushings you'll need) as the rubber bushings, not including the cost of having a machine shop press them in if you're not inclined to work them in yourself.
It's also a good question as to the longevity of the urethane bushings on the passenger side with the exposure to exhaust heat.
I test drove a C900 with urethane bushings. The steering response was amazing (especially compared to my own 900, but that's another story), but the road feel was a bit on the harsh side.
