Is it time to say goodbye to my old Saabs?

Hi! I just purchased an immaculate '92 900 turbo convertible and am having a dilemna about my old Saab friends.
I currently have an '89 900s with ~140K miles with a head gasket (already fixed professionally once) and significant front main leaks, needs cat. conv. and int. pipe, will be needing a clutch and rear shocks/springs(?) soon. No problems with tranny. Front end and body is solid, except for the inside on the bottom of the doors and the sides of the hood. Cloth interior in 9.5/10 shape.
Also have an '88 900 turbo w/~220K miles. New clutch within past 10k miles, no leaks, new exhaust, engine always had regular Durablend oil changes, runs/shifts great. Leather interior in 8/10 shape. Unfortunately, this love of my life is a rust bucket (body rusty and frame rotted near A-arms, won't pass inspection in May.)
Need advice on what to do. I have to be rid of at least one. Do I say goodbye to both for parts to the local yard (sniffle sniffle) or sell the '89 as a fixer upper (what's it worth?) and junk the '88? Do I fix exhaust on '89 to make it driveable for another season? Swap of turbo motor/tranny into non-turbo sounds very involved. Would it be worth doing to a motor/tranny w/220k into a less than perfect body? I don't need either of my current vehicles, but it would be nice to have a winter beater and am having some trouble emotionally letting go. Please be honest....is it time? Thank you!
