First follow Swedecar's advice, the connector you are looking for ahead of the A pillar is a 3 wire connector. If you jump center to either of the outside pins in this connector, the doors should either open or close. If OK, then the control module is fine, and the problem is in the wiring to the lock switch or the lock switch itself. Note that there is not a power lock motor in the driver's door, only passenger door and hatch.
If jumping connector doesn't activate either passenger door or hatch, then suspect control module. You will find control unit in passenger footwell on bracket attached to the top of the footwell heat duct. You can unscrew the heat duct and bend down the duct to access the control module. Once you know where it is, you can pull it out of the bracket by feel.
Unplug the module and pry the cover off to look for any breaks in the connectors to the circuit board or general corrosion. You can solder a small jumper wire to fix any breaks. Sometimes a component in the module fails. Get a used replacement.
