...its fine. I know I probably need to replace vac lines, they're pretty bad. But I don't think this could cause a high idle at times, and normal idle other times. the car is a 91 900T 5spd, with 297,476 on the clock. I was thinking maybe the AIC is starting to have problems, I cleaned that, but idle issue still continues. I was just fishing around for other ideas. I checked all boot clamps, and all vac lines I could find are in place. Here's one example, right after I start it, it idles around 1750 or so, and about 15-20 seconds after starting it, idle will raise to 2000 by itself. and will stay there until car gets driven (or idles for a long time I suppose, but I don't usually let it idle that long). And then, other times, I'll be driving, come to a stop, idles at 850 on the nose, then drive further, stop, and idles at like 1200. its hard to describe, you'd have to be in the car to see what I mean. so, any ideas/input would be greatly appreciated. oh, also, no CEL.
