Whilst i was drivivng today the rubber that sits in the inlet manifold that houser the breather blew out. Thas caused the engine to suck air and rev as if the accelerator was stuck on. luckly there was no traffic in frount of me so I turned the enging off and rolled to a stop. The rubber was worn and I am thinking that the normal pressure inside the manifold blew it out. Has anyone elso had this happen? Am I on the right track or could there be something causing higher pressure than normal. Thankyou.
