'79 EMS for $300.US Its a canadian car so everything in kilometers. 146436 on odometer if its true thats 90k. Car is prettty straight. The gears all mesh very smoothly and the engine is quiet. There is quite a bit of oil lower end of engine. SAAB seepage? There is some rust two 4" almost rusted through on drivers side lower side of hood and then patches that are not too bad. window on drivers side a bit sticky and makes a crunch sound when rolling it. Drivers seat fabric torn rest of interior good with sag from roof just on sunroof. It drives great! it is this light green color kind of metalic with a green interior very grooovy baby.
All the hoses and all the gaskets will be replaced first oh and all fluids of course. I need to have front end looked at, as when coming around a sharp hiway entrance corner vibrated a bit on left and started drifting and it vibrates a bit when you have it up around 85-90 kilometers. the brakes seem fine. I will have it all checked out and go from there but really its just fine right now. Even the tires are new and the clutch has around 40k on it. Supposedly.
This is going to be a great car for my son. His first. Thanks for every ones in put the building of the fleet has comenced.
Oh by the way the 83' was a total mechanical heap with 266000k or more on it. Ran away from that one.
