Just for the heckuvit, use an antiseize compound on the nuts/bolts when you put them back in.
Too many people think SS hardware is the be all and end all of non corrosive replacments. Sometimes you just use standard hardware and twist/break them off when you have to replace them. Replacing everything with Grade8 hardware, for example, just ensures you HAVE to cut them off because the hardware is too fing strong to unscrew when it corrodes together.
Even stainless corrodes and can weld together. In fact, much stainless is weaker in terms of tensile strength than regular steel..you must ensure you have the correct stainless steel alloy to get the right clamping force!!
