I know Espejy said not to use a primer, but most certainly you must use SOMETHING on the plastic to prep it for paint to get a good bond that will hold over the years. I'll be going to barnes and noble to get me some good autobody-type books to read up on this kinda stuff, as ive never done any kind of body work in my life.
Would it be worth it to buy my own automotive paint spray gun and apply it that way?
You mentioned painting the bumpers too. Will that be a necessity? I dont believe they are painted now, are they?
